PR Girl Manifesto is a nonprofit media platform and global community for public relations and communications professionals. We exist to make the communications industry more accessible, equitable, and human. Through editorial content, professional development programming, IRL and virtual events, and career resources, we support PR and comms professionals at every stage of their journey, especially those navigating nontraditional paths into the industry. Our work centers on storytelling, ethics, cultural competence, and community as strategy.

Fatou B. Barry is a communications strategist, writer, and community builder. With over a decade of experience across public relations, brand strategy, and social impact, Fatou has led communications efforts at the intersection of culture, community, and purpose. Her work focuses on helping brands and individuals tell more thoughtful, ethical stories while building systems that create access and opportunity for underrepresented voices.
